5 unknown things about Giles
 
I am an identical twin. 
This has many implications, some of which may not be obvious at first sight:-
I have a ready-made organ donor should I need one. This enables me to take part in many dangerous activities without a care for my own bodily safety, such as Free-Fall Drape Alterations (broke my rib doing that one at Christmas)           
I have someone to blame for a murder, should I commit one - our DNA is identical. In fact, I can blame him for any number of mis-deeds.  'It wasn’t me your Honour'.
It enables me to see how annoying I can be at times, by watching him.
I can ring his wife and get him into trouble at any time I choose. Unfortunately the reverse is also true. 
 
I also have identical twin girls.
They do say it skips a generation, but not in my case.
I was told after they were born that I could have insured against having twins.
Naturally I had not done so. Just like when you take your brolly, it won’t rain.
 
I am an unpublished author.
Just like a lot of people, I have a book inside me. Goodness, I don’t remember eating that. 
My book is just 12 chapters long at present, and really needs finishing, but I have been busy, and it resolutely refuses to write itself. Those of you who have done any writing will know the strange feeling that your words are being written by someone else, through you. I too had that feeling. Strange! 
 
I work in the Aerospace industry.
Another good reason not to fly at present! If you are worried about flying in any plane I have been involved with, I can let you have a list so that you can avoid them.                                                             
You are safe on Boeing – we don’t do those. 
As a child I did not dream of flying planes – my eyesight was too poor. But I did dream of being involved in building aircraft, and here we are! 
 
I don’t like the Mark Degree. 
I LOVE IT! 
I am a faithful and loving husband.  I could never cheat on my wife – I love my house too much, and she knows a very good divorce solicitor.  My wife Sandra helps me in all I do within the Mark Degree and in life. I simply could not do it without her. We have been together now for 25 years, and we have been married for 13 of them (last Wednesday). 
Just a tip here – try to avoid having your wedding anniversary during a pandemic; you will not be able to get red roses for your better half, no matter how hard you try.  Yellow ones, the ones you went all over town for, will not really suffice. Just a friendly tip. Even 2 bunches of yellow roses are rubbish apparently. At least I tried………..and also gave her an orchid.  Thanks Sandra!
